Sorensen´s Songs

Besides being singer, guitarist - and not least technical genius and 'Commendatore delle Machine' of the outfit - Allan Sorensen takes special credit in being the band's sole songwriter.

As can be seen elsewhere on this website, RiverHorse doesn't play Sorensen's songs exclusively. But nevertheless a few.

Allan has always been a very productive composer in cooperation with various lyricists and text-writers Torben Bille, Peter Valentin Rolnes, Lisbet Frisenette, Lee Williamson.

Apart from RiverHorse, Allan (with poet Torben Bille) has provided material for crooner Carsten Wantzin.

On the Retriever album Allan wrote all the music and 9 texts, Peter wrote 6 texts.

On the single Break Out / Some Rock ´n´ Roll Allan wrote the music and texts.
